Funmilayo is an associate in CPJ Solicitors. She has risen professionally especially in her areas of proficiency with impressive track records in litigation, alternative dispute resolution, corporate law practice, legal drafting, election matters, debt recovery, employment, and labour law, administrative and constitutional matters. Her passion for business law influenced her to organise business clinics for small and medium scale business owners which benefited over one thousand people. She brings great enthusiasm to bear on every task before her, and the quality of her delivery on technical issues makes her an invaluable member of the firm.

She possesses strong competencies in proffering suitable legal solutions to the needs of clients. She is tactical, goal-driven, and works efficiently under pressure. Funmilayo has a deep understanding of procedural law in Nigerian Courts and has demonstrated this dexterous art by applying the same to achieve desired results for clients within the ambiance of law in both trial and Appellate Courts. Over the years, bearing in mind her experience and quality of practice, she has developed an envied ability to foresee, analyse and mitigate or totally prevent risks which can be fatal to clients’ cases and transactions. She is also an advocate of human rights and very passionate in achieving Justice in due course, this motivated her to partner with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) in collaboration with National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to represent drug arrestees’ pro-bono.

She is a team player, and these skills enable her to effectively and efficiently work with colleagues to achieve the best desired results. She graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University and the Nigeria Law School, Abuja.
